Implementation of Late Payment Fee as of May 18th, 2018

Dear Customer,

In a continuous effort to improve its services, please be informed that CMA CGM has decided to implement,as from May 18th, 2018, a Late Payment Fee for all export and import shipments paid later than 15 days after loading confirmation for the export and 15 days after the date of discharge of the equipment in Paraguay for the import.

* On the 16th day without proof of payment sent to the finance team, it will be charged a penalty equivalent to 4% of the due amount. Then, as from the 46th day after loading confirmation for the export and the date of discharge of the equipment in Paraguay for the import, a 1% monthly interest will apply up to the effective payment date.

The Bill of Lading (and cargo) may only be released upon payment of the freight and all charges relating to the Bill of Lading.

The intention of this procedure is to balance the cash flow, impacted in the last months, receiving the payments in the due time.
