Cargo Incident Notification System (CINS) wins Corporate Social Responsibility award at the Containerisation International Awards
The Cargo Incident Notification System (CINS) Committee, which CMA CGM is a founding member, won the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award on October 29th, 2013, in London at the Containerisation International Awards.
This award indicates CMA CGM’s commitment in CINS initiative. CINS is a database system, designed to anticipate safety problems in the container supply chain such as cargoes that display dangerous characteristics, not yet recognized as such in the IMDG Code or incidents regularly disrupting operations.
CMA CGM is clearly committed to continuing improvements to safety in the supply chain. Its objective is to improve procedures and recommend actions to promote the highest level of safety for the transport of goods in containers. As a founding and active member of CINS, CMA CGM welcomes this international recognition.
