CMA CGM sustainable development performance rewarded by Ecovadis
CMA CGM Group has been awarded the“Silver Level Recognition”byEcovadis, a rating agency specialized in Sustainability and Ethics. The CMA CGM GroupCorporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has been rated as “confirmed”, 2013 goal was achieved and regarding last year rating, progress have been made on all criteria with regards to environmental, labor practices & human rights, fair business practices and sustainable procurement issues. This result recognizes the value of CMA CGM policies, actions and outcomes of those assessed issues.
Based on benchmarking made by Ecovadis that depicts the distribution of overall score for several thousand companies on the Ecovadis platform, CMA CGM is ranked alongside the 24% which have confirmed CSR engagement and on the top 8% regarding Environment. This result is the recognition of the Group commitment to improve its CSR engagement, the determined and structured CSR policy and the combined efforts of its employees.
